Lavandin is a hybrid of True Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) and Lavender Spike (Lavandula latifolia), leaving it sharper and richer scents than the True Lavender while simultaneously not as penetrating and camphoraceous as Spike Lavender. This oil remains popular in personal care and household products, it is recommended for athletic and relaxation purposes as well as anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory and healing. Florihana steam distillation process extracts essential oil between 40°C to 80°C which enable the essential oil to retain most of its original molecules of the lavender.
